The NOVA 2000 respirator was designed by blasters for the blasting professional. The NOVA 2000 offers more comfort, less fatigue and improved productivity!
- Air duct distribution system - to evenly move air throughout the helmet and prevent lens from fogging.
- Lightweight pillow foam padding - for a comfortable fit that also reduces outside noise.
- Large, double lens - to optimize vision without irritating side glare with optional tear-off lenses you can tear off one at a time.
- Super tough helmet shell - made of high density polyethylene, U.V. stabilized and characteristically abrasion resistant.
- Multi layered sound deadening foam – you’ll enjoy wearing a helmet that reduces outside ear piercing noises to a minimum.
- Strong attached cape – eight stud domes ensure the cape stays on.
- Abrasion resistant cape cover band – seals the cape and prevents abrasive from entering the helmet.
- Snug detachable inner cape – made of soft breathable fabric to allow air flow down your neck while maintaining positive pressure in the helmet to keep out contaminants.

- Secure attachment band – wraps around the bottom rim of the helmet shell and easily fastens with a ratchet style buckle.
- Replaceable window latch – is screw mounted and easily replaced without danger of damaging the helmet shell.
- Integral 1” deep visor – on the top and side of the red window frame to keep out dust and abrasive from between the lenses.
- Extra-long window frame - to protect the top of the cape from exposure to abrasive rebound.
- 3-lens system – with the outermost perforated tear-away lenses to speed the way to clear vision during the blasting operation and an intermediate lens to provide additional sealing and to protect the durable fixed inner lens from premature wear.

Airline Filters and Cartridges
When using a compressor to produce your Grade “D” breathable air you will need an Airline Filter to remove moisture and particulates from your air supply. All of our respirator / helmet manufactures offer airline filters.
OSHA does not require the airline filter to be the same manufacturer as your helmet, but you will need to make sure the airline hose has the correct fittings into the airline filter to ensure proper air flow into the helmet.

Breathing Air Monitors/Systems
Breathing Air Monitors/Systems are used to ensure the quality of your breathing air. The 3 most common types of monitors/systems are:
- “CO” Removal Systems that remove carbon monoxide, as well as particulates, taste and odors from your air supply.
- “CO” Monitoring Systems that monitor the carbon monoxide level, and removes particulates, taste and odors form your air supply.
- “CO/O2” Monitoring Systems that monitor the carbon monoxide and O2 levels, and removes particulates, taste and odors form your air supply.
These units come in either portable or stationary (wall panel) models. Models are also available that can be connected to your computer to have records of your air quality at any given time.
The use of a breathing air monitor/system is a big part of meeting your requirements for breathing air quality under OSHA Standard 1910-134 – Respiratory Protection.
